About me

Sherif
I was born in Cairo, the bustling city on the Nile, where the
darbuka is an integral part of the vibrant life that never seems
to stop. Its rhythmic beats can be heard echoing through the narrow streets, in lively coffee shops, and at countless weddings.
As children, we spent most of our time on the streets of Cairo.
We either played football or drummed on the trunks of parked cars… until we were inevitably chased off by an angry car owner! :-)
I am married and the father of two teenagers. I've lived in Winterthur for over 20 years now and work in the financial sector.
